Process - Electrical & Mechanical

The electrical and mechanical systems are engineered by our own design professionals using the latest in AutoCad computer aided design technology. These detailed drawings are not only used during the construction process, but also provide the owner with an accurate set of as-built drawings for future modifications and service work.

The electrical systems are engineered to insure proper circuiting, load analysis, and construction coordination. Only NMMA and US Coast Guard approved wiring is used in the boats. The 12v, shore power (dual 50a/220v), generator and inverter systems are all designed to provide the most efficient, effective and easy to operate systems.

Stardust houseboats offer Carrier heat pump residential type HVAC systems, or can be designed to operate with energy efficient geo-thermal water cooled HVAC systems.

Water manifold systems are a Stardust standard, as are Tecma heads with 100 gallon plastic holding tanks (per unit).
