Ownership & Management

Stardust Cruisers is owned and managed by boaters who have a passion for building houseboats. They understand from personal experience the boater's perspective on what is important in a houseboat, and in the customer's boat building and ownership experience.

Terry G. Aff, P.E., President and Owner, is a licensed professional engineer and has been an avid house boater and water skier for over 30 years. Terry owned a successful machine tool business and was fortunate to have sold that business and enjoyed a couple of years off, but is now excited about bringing his precision manufacturing experience to the houseboat industry.

Bruce Chesnut, Owner, is an avid boater with residences in London, Kentucky and Naples, Florida. He has several business interests including Laurel Grocery in London Kentucky, Kolb Aircraft, a manufacturing company of experimental aircraft, BPS Engineering in Tennessee and is a partner in State Dock on Lake Cumberland.

Bill Jasper, Owner, is a partner and President of State Dock, a 450 slip marina on Lake Cumberland. Bill’s extensive knowledge and passion of boating is evident at State Dock, which has evolved into the premier boating facility on Lake Cumberland. State Dock is home to the world’s largest houseboat rental fleet which provides a large amount of experience data on houseboats to Stardust. Bill and his wife Angie are the owners of “Cat Daddy”, the first Stardust designed performance catamaran hull.

John Gregory, Vice President of Sales and Operations has been with Stardust since 1988. John has experience in every aspect of the houseboat industry having been involved in the production, service, transportation and design of over 1,300 houseboats.

Tommy Vaughn, Production Manager has worked at Stardust since 1995 and has experience in service, transportation, purchasing, and operations.
